Inpatient Urology Physician Assistant – Locum Tenens | Coastal New Jersey

We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Urology Physician Assistant to join a leading hospital-based urology team in coastal New Jersey for a locum tenens assignment providing maternity leave coverage.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Neptune, NJ
• Setting: Inpatient Urology – No trauma exposure required
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Weekends: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Call coverage required)
  • Exact schedule may vary slightly
• No holiday coverage or anticipated overtime
• Start: ASAP upon credentialing

Practice Highlights:

• Daily census: 15–29 patients
• Work alongside 8 attending physicians and 1–2 APPs
• No additional support staff for locum
• Interview with Dr. Mina Fam

Procedures Include:

• Complex Foley catheter management and placement
• Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Suprapubic tube (SPT) exchanges

Requirements:

• Active or eligible NJ license (IMLC candidates welcome)
• Current CDS and DEA required
• Minimum of 1–2 years urology or relevant inpatient experience preferred
• Availability for full-time locum coverage
