Position Details:
Our state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab is hiring experienced, full-time Rad Techs or graduates of an A.A.S. Cardiovascular Technology program to assist in the care of our patients.
Current Cath Lab Rad Techs, join our highly skilled and experienced team of Cardiologist, Rad Techs, Paramedic's, and RNs in the lab. Our lab is a collaborative environment, as we work together to save lives and better the outcomes of our patients.
Under the supervision of a licensed cardiologist:
- Provide technical support and assistance to the physician diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral disease, and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath lab.
- Including but not limited to diagnostic coronary and interventional angiography procedures, pacemaker/ICD implantation, other interventional cardiac/vascular procedures, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Provides patient care, operates equipment, performs scrub, circulator and hemodynamic monitoring duties during procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgement in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols.
- Must have strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a high-stressed environment.
- EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Other: Graduation from a Radiologic Technologist Program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: - OR ARRT – Radiography – American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
- RHF – Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days if required at the affiliate
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
