We are hiring a experienced Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for an on going Opportunity in beautiful Seattle, WA!  This is a full time opportunity starting as soon as credentialed! 

This provider coverage is needed due to staff vacancy and will be an ongoing opportunity!  This provider will be joining a team of an additional NP/PA and 2 RN's  Its in an outpatient setting with about 8-10 estimated patients per shift.  

This is a Monday – Friday (8a-5p) schedule.   The greatest need being (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) as the physician is in office on Thursdays and Fridays.  There is no call required for this position.  

General Duties and responsibilities     

– Provide medical expertise on pain, symptom management, and the evaluation of terminal prognosis to patient ,family members and staff. 

– Ensures that the care being provided is based on established hospice and palliative care guidelines and standards

– Interacts with attending physicians, as necessary, regarding the care and treatment of patients in the Palliative Care program and works         collaboratively regarding potential referrals to Hospice

– Assist in teaching supervision 

– Local drive in candidate to the Seattle area with mileage reimbursement – preferred 

– Active WA License 

– Scheduled clinic hours only

– EMR – Epic
