Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery PA or NP in Arizona!

Candidate shall work 10 days per month (September-January) and ongoing!  Flexible on shifts

 Work Details:
 · Support Staff: Surgeon
 · Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 4 days, 7a-3p plus call 3p-7a
 · Patients per day: 10-15 CVICU/step down patients, plus 1-2 surgeries
 · Patient Population/Age: adult/geron
 · Department Description: CT Surgery
 · EMR: Cerner
 · Hospital Bed size: 200
 · Special Procedures: temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, Aline placement
 · Skills Required: recent cardiothoracic surgery, proficient with EVH

 · Board Certification:
 · License Required: yes
 · DEA: yes

 Minimum Experience Required: 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH

 Graduate from a university program approved by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants ( NCCPA) – Required
 Or  Master's Degree in Nursing- Required

 Certification & Licensures
 Certified or certification eligible by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).- Required
 *Licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physicians Assistant in the State of Arizona– Required
 *ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)- Required
 OR
 *Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program – Required
 *Completion of a RN/NP First Assistant Program- Required
 *Current unrestricted Arizona APRN license- Required
 *Medical Surgical or NP ANCC or AANP Certification- Required
 *ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)- Required
 Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
