The financial analyst’s primary responsibility is to provide technical, analytical and financial support to a prestigious health system! The incumbent will support the Strata system financial modules with regular data loads, reconciliations and act as the key point person for Strata support follow up. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as intermediate and/or advanced Microsoft Office product application skills. This individual will assist in the maintenance of selected analytics and/or regulatory reporting systems. Close interaction with leadership, consultants/auditors, information systems, and finance staff will be required
Education
Required: BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
We are Seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with Hospital experience
3 years accounting/finance/business analytic experience
The candidate’s role and responsibilities :

Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.

Assist with the accurate reporting and maintenance of various management tools/systems used for operational review and improvement.

Maintenance of the Strata financial system modules – Strategic Planning, Management Reporting, Labor Productivity and One Plan.

Managing and maintaining regular data loads and ensuring source systems are reconciled.

Running and maintaining update procedure to ensure timely and accurate financial information is released.

Key point of contact for any Strata support tickets – ensuring the problem is being addressed by Strata and coordinating data needs within the team.

Self-initiated problem solving to enable timely system and data corrections and offer solutions.

Provide and maintain system access list.

Assisting with various financial analysis under the direction of another team member.

Work closely with the IS team to resolve integration failures and actively pursue and offer potential solutions.

Ability to maneuver between independent judgment and team support in determining reporting, analysis, and conclusions.
