Work in an well-run, intimate cardiac surgery group, with 2 renown cardiac surgeons, all the “bread and butter” cardiac surgery cases performed, autonomy and a robust full continuum of care role. The Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant will receive ample cardiac surgery first assisting time unlike many cardiac surgery programs in California! This is a rare gem!

At this hospital, there is more opportunities for first assisting than other programs in CA. Program consist of 200 Heart Surgeries annually and growing!

EXCELLENT QUALITY OF LIFE SCHEDULE! Candidate will work 4 10 hour shifts per week, one weeknight of on call and only one weekend of on call per month! Minimum of 50% OR Time! On-Call compensation very strong! $500-800 per night! Hemapro II EVH System. We do both EVH and Radials at this location, will train in Radials.
