LOCUM TENENS Certified Nurse Midwife – South Central Montana
Location: South-Central Montana
Duration: 4 Months (September – December)
Schedule: In-house 24-hour and 12-hour call shifts on Labor & Delivery
Pay : $115.00 per hour
Are you a Certified Nurse Midwife looking for an incredible opportunity to work in the great state of Montana? We have an outstanding Locum Tenens assignment in south-central Montana, where you'll join a highly collaborative and welcoming OB/GYN & MFM team on the Labor & Delivery unit.
This Role Includes:
- 24-hour in-house call coverage
- Occasional first assist for Cesarean deliveries
- Rare, sporadic clinic visits across the street
- Full-scope CNM responsibilities

Job Summary:
As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will:
- Deliver care at the top of your license
- Promote wellness and prevent disease
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and consult within your scope
- Assist with Cesarean sections when needed
- Prescribe under proper licensure
- Document care accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Active Certified Nurse Midwife license
- CNM certification
- Eligible for Controlled Substance License (Schedule II–V)
- Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate (Schedule II–V)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Strong communication skills
- Compassionate, professional, and dependable
