Palm Health Resources is hiring an Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a fantastic thriving well-established Urgent Care facility in the stunning Shenandoah Valley!! Full time role!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

·  Provides direct patient care and support to multidisciplinary health team working within the scope of practice of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

·  Serves as a clinical expert through patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and consultation, while maintaining program excellence and professional growth.

·  Responsible for developing comprehensive care plans, coordinating patient care, delivering ongoing treatment while fostering a strong patient-provider relationship.

·  Committed to cost-effective care management, optimizing resource utilization, and enhancing patient experiences through continuous process improvement.

·  Provides direct patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.

Education: PA must be a graduate of a program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission for Physician Assistant Programs (ARC-PA) OR Graduate of a nationally accredited school of nursing with Bachelors in nursing and Masters Degree in advanced practice nursing.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of physician’s assistant experience in a primary care or emergency care environment is preferred.

Certification & Licensures:

·      BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association required

·      Successful completion of a Board exam that is recognized by the Board of Medicine is required. Recertification, if required is necessary

·      Active Virginia and/or West Virginia State License

·      Active Virginia and/or West Virginia DEA

·      Successful completion of an ACLS course if required within 120 days of the hire date

·      Maintains and provides proof of CME requirements as put forth by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
