Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract

13–26 Weeks | 4x10s (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) + On-Call

As a Cath Lab Technologist, you’ll play a key role in a state-of-the-art cardiac program that combines cutting-edge technology, advanced hybrid operating rooms, and highly specialized teams to deliver the full spectrum of heart and vascular care.
What You’ll Do
- Patient Care – Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide education/support.
- Procedural Assistance – Work alongside nationally recognized interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists during complex cases such as diagnostic caths, angioplasty, stenting, structural heart procedures, and device implants.
- Advanced Technology – Utilize next-generation hemodynamic monitoring systems, digital imaging, and hybrid OR equipment designed for precision and efficiency.
- Scrub & Circulate – Maintain sterile technique and support a wide range of invasive procedures.
- Documentation & Inventory – Ensure accurate, timely charting and help manage critical lab supplies.
- Team Collaboration – Partner with top-tier cardiologists, nurses, and technologists in a high-acuity academic environment.

What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of a health sciences program (Cardiovascular Tech, Rad Tech, Nursing, or related).
- 3+ year Cath Lab experience required.
- Certifications:
- BLS & ACLS (AHA – required).
- RCIS (highly preferred, often required).
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Skilled with Cath Lab equipment & hemodynamic interpretation.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity, teaching hospital environment.
- Flexibility for on-call, nights, and weekends.
