Hot Locum Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or physician assistant (PA) LOCUM TENEN Opportunity in great Detroit Suburb hospital!
Start Date ASAP! Credentialing does take 90 days to complete. 12-hour night shifts! Lots of independence!!
Schedule is 12 shifts per month!! variable scheduling and all nights!
The role is for an experienced PA or Acute care certified NP within the cardiac surgical ICU. The candidate should have demonstrable experience managing acute care patients particularly who have undergone cardiac surgery. They should be able to start central lines and arterial lines and manage chest tubes and surgical drains and be comfortable with mechanical circulatory support devices such at ECMO, IABP and Impella.
The Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner will be working in an inpatient cardiothoracic surgery capacity at a level one trauma center!
Will provide cardiothoracic critical care patient care, VADS, some procedural support and patient rounding 100% inpatient capacity / high acuity!
Candidate must be a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or physician assistant!!
