Weekday Schedule | No Call | Community Hospital | Long-Term Assignment
Palm Health Resources is seeking an experienced Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a well-supported community hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, a broad bread-and-butter case mix, and a collaborative anesthesia care team in one of South Carolina's fastest-growing metro areas.

📅 Assignment Overview
- Start: Fall 2026 (13-week contract with extension potential)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- Call: None
- Community hospital with an on-campus outpatient surgery center
- 7 operating rooms + 1 endoscopy suite
- Approximately 30+ cases per day
- Epic EMR
- Medical Direction (ACT) model – 4:1 supervision
🩺 Clinical Scope
Provide anesthesia care for adolescents and adults across a diverse surgical service line.
Primary Case Mix
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Spine
- Gynecology
- Ophthalmology
- Plastics
Out-of-OR Coverage May Include
- GI Endoscopy
- MRI
- CV/TEE procedures
Required Skills
- General anesthesia
- Spine cases
- Ventilation management
- Evaluation and management of acute hemodynamic/volume issues
- Arterial line placement
Requirements
- NBCRNA Certified
- Active South Carolina CRNA license
- Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA)
- DEA
- Epic experience preferred
- Clean malpractice and background history
