Long-Term Locum Tenens Assignment | New Jersey

A well-established regional healthcare system in New Jersey is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage beginning August 2026. This opportunity offers a predominantly outpatient practice, collaborative physician support, and a predictable weekday schedule.

This assignment is ideal for MFM physicians seeking long-term stability while maintaining a balanced clinical practice focused on high-risk obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, and fetal imaging.

Position Highlights:

• Long-term assignment (approximately 9 months)
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 8-hour clinic days
• Primarily outpatient practice
• Remote call rotation
• Established multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong clinical and administrative support

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Maternal Fetal Medicine consultations
• High-risk pregnancy management
• Advanced obstetric ultrasound interpretation
• Prenatal diagnostic counseling
• Fetal surveillance and treatment planning
• Limited inpatient consultation coverage

Procedures:

• Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
• Amniocentesis

Practice Environment:

• Collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers
• Dedicated support staff
• Consistent referral base
• High-volume maternal fetal medicine program

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
• Maternal Fetal Medicine training preferred
• Active DEA required
• Active CDS required
