Locum CRNA Opportunity – Scenic Western Massachusetts | 6-Month Assignment with Long-Term Potential
Palm Health Resources is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an outstanding locum opportunity at a well-established regional teaching hospital in the scenic Berkshires of western Massachusetts. This collaborative anesthesia department offers a diverse case mix, consistent weekday scheduling, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position after six months if mutually desired.
Position Highlights
- 6-month locum assignment with potential locum-to-permanent conversion
- 8-hour weekday shifts
- 32 hours guaranteed each week (8-hour daily guarantee)
- Overtime available after 10 hours worked
- Occasional weekend coverage may be available
- No routine call required
- Supervised anesthesia care model
- Approximately 90-day credentialing
Practice Details
Join a collaborative anesthesia team at a respected community teaching hospital serving as the primary referral center for the region.
Clinical Responsibilities
- General adult anesthesia
- Pediatric anesthesia
- Regional anesthesia
- Spinals
- Epidurals
- Obstetrical cases
- Neurosurgical cases
- IV regional anesthesia (Bier blocks)
- Main OR and Endoscopy coverage
- Approximately 9 operating rooms and 5 endoscopy suites
- Average daily volume:
- 3–5 Main OR cases
- 12–15 Endoscopy cases
- Meditech Expanse EMR

Requirements
- NBCRNA Certified
- Active Massachusetts license or willingness to obtain
- BLS & ACLS
- New graduates considered; 2+ years of experience preferred
- NPDB Self-Query required at submission
