Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician – New Jersey
A well-established hospital-based Maternal Fetal Medicine program in New Jersey is seeking an experienced MFM Physician for a locum tenens assignment beginning in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative multidisciplinary OB/GYN and MFM team while providing high-risk obstetric care, inpatient consultations, ultrasound services, and call coverage.
Position Highlights:
- Start: September 2026
- Assignment through the end of 2026
- Inpatient/high-risk OB coverage
- Approximately 1:3 call
- Established MFM and OB/GYN physician team
- APP support
- Epic EMR
- Temporary privileges may be available
Responsibilities:
- Manage high-risk obstetric patients
- Complete inpatient MFM consultations and rounding
- Review and interpret obstetric ultrasounds
- Perform ultrasounds and amniocentesis
- Collaborate with MFM, OB/GYN physicians and APPs
- Participate in scheduled call coverage
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Strong inpatient and high-risk obstetric experience
- Proficiency with ultrasound and amniocentesis
- Comfortable participating in call
- Eligible for New Jersey licensure and hospital privileges
- Prior locum/travel experience preferred
