Locum Physician Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity in Virginia
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) for a Locum-to-Perm Cardiothoracic Surgery opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for a CT Surgery PA looking for meaningful surgical involvement and the potential for a long-term position.
Position Details
- Start: ASAP
- Initial Commitment: 6 months
- Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Setting: 75% inpatient / 25% outpatient
- Weekend Rounds: Yes
- Average Rounding Census: 5–10 patients
- EMR: EPIC
- Credentialing: Approximately 90–120 days
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Cardiothoracic Surgery training/experience required
- Active Virginia PA license
- Active DEA
- Hospital privileges required
