Overview:
A well-established, hospital-employed OB/GYN practice in Northern Virginia is growing to 3-4 physicians and seeking an MD or DO to join the team. Start permanent from day one, or begin locum with the option to convert.
Highlights:
- Office located on the hospital campus, with coverage at one hospital
- Busy obstetrics volume, with approximately 2,600 deliveries last year across the hospital practice and another private group
- OB hospitalist groupand MFM support
- Level III NICU
- Call approximately 1:4
- 4-day work week
Scope of Practice:
- Total obstetrical care, including in-office ultrasound and non-stress testing
- Routine annual exams and complete gynecological care
- Family planning and counseling
- Infertility counseling and treatment
- Adolescent healthcare
- Comprehensive surgical care, including minimally invasive surgery
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive, market-based compensation based on experience. Salary and loan repayment are negotiable for permanent positions. Locum rates available upon request.
