Locum Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant, Lancaster, CA
Outpatient clinic only. No call. Monday through Friday.
A busy outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lancaster, California, needs 2 experienced Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistants. It's a locum assignment starting ASAP and running 6 months, and an extension is expected.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- No call, no weekends
- Starts ASAP for 6 months, with an expected extension
What you'll be doing
- Seeing about 19 to 21 orthopedic clinic patients per day, including total joint patients
- New patient visits
- Fracture care
- Post-op follow-up visits
- Joint injections
Setting
- Outpatient clinic only
- The EMR is Epic
Requirements
- Physician Assistant (PA only)
- Board certified
- An active California PA license (required)
- Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
- Orthopedic surgery experience
- Vaccinations are preferred, and waivers will be considered
- Credentialing takes about 60 to 90 days after you submit the application
