Locum Physician – Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Florida
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Emergency Medicine opportunity.
Position Details
- Start January 2027; ongoing until a permanent hire
- 10–12 hour shifts, AM and PM coverage
- 1–2 EM physicians on shift, with 2 APP shifts per day
- About 79 patients per day (about 1.57 patients per hour per provider)
- Comprehensive Stroke Center with good acuity mix; about 40% admission rate
- 100% clinical; 1-day orientation/shadow
Requirements
- MD/DO, Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS)
- All experience levels considered
- Case logs likely required
