We are hiring an experienced Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a HOT locum Contract in Beautiful Tacoma, WA! $130-170 PER HOUR! All EXPENSES PAID! Starting from March – Year End! Palm Health has over 40 CT PA positions nationally please inquire with your interest!
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with pre- and post-operative patient evaluation and treatment
- OR First Assist in Both Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery cases. Must be able to first assist in Thoracic Robotic cases
- Robotic Thoracic Surgery is 90% of the role
- VATS and DaVinci thoracic procedures
- Emergent procedures on floor as required
- Discharge summaries
- Rotating weeknight & weekend call
- Patient rounding
- Urgent/Emergent add-on surgeries
- Clinic wound checks and follow-up visits
They utilize EPIC as their EMR. Credentialing time frame is 4-6 weeks.
