Palm Health Resources is seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist for a high-quality outpatient surgery center located along the Northern California coast (Eureka area).
This is a steady, lifestyle-friendly assignment with predictable hours, no call, and a supportive clinical environment—ideal for providers seeking consistency and work-life balance while practicing in a scenic coastal setting.
📅 Schedule & Assignment Details
- Start: Summer 2026 (as soon as credentialed)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No call, nights, or weekends
- Flexible scheduling blocks (e.g., 2 weeks on/off or month-on/month-off)
- Ongoing, long-term coverage need
🧠 Case Mix & Clinical Scope
- Outpatient surgical setting with lower-acuity, efficient case flow
- General anesthesia (majority adult cases)
- Mix includes:
- Orthopedic procedures
- GI and general surgery
- Basic regional techniques
No cardiac, trauma, OB, or complex high-acuity cases
- ~4 operating rooms
- ~8 cases per day
- No admissions or inpatient responsibilities
🤝 Practice Environment
- Collaborative, team-oriented outpatient model
- No supervision requirements
- Strong RN and perioperative support staff
- EMR: Epic
- Focus on efficiency, safety, and streamlined workflows
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years)
- Active California license required at submission
- ACLS, BLS, PALS required
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical activity preferred
Credentialing
- Estimated timeframe: ~90 days
- Clean file and consistent work history required
