Locum CRNA – Southern New Mexico | Independent Practice | High Pay + Call | Palm Health Resources
Palm Health Resources is actively recruiting 2 CRNAs for a high-paying locum opportunity in southern New Mexico starting as soon as credentialed (temp privileges available). This is an excellent fit for experienced providers who value autonomy, solid call pay, and a flexible schedule—all in a welcoming, scenic desert community with abundant outdoor lifestyle perks.
🔹 Position Highlights:
- Location: Southern NM (Las Cruces region)
- Setting: 250-bed full-service hospital (inpatient & outpatient)
- Practice Model: CRNAs practice independently with physician supervision
- Start Date: ASAP once credentialed (temporary privileges available)
- Credentialing Timeline: ~90 days; active NM license required at submission
- Call Ratio: 1:10 (beeper call); 30-minute response required
- Shift Types: Scheduled clinical hours + call (day shifts)
- Case Mix: Bread and butter + regional blocks (no cardiac or trauma); OB, ortho, neuro, spine, vascular, and more
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements:
- Board-certified CRNA with minimum 1 year experience
- Comfortable working independently and performing regional blocks
- Must provide case logs for blocks
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Must live 90+ miles from the facility
- New Mexico license required at time of submission
- Willingness to work some weekends and take call
- Credentialing materials and CAQH questionnaire required prior to start
💵 Compensation:
- 1099 hourly pay of $200–$250+ depending on commitment & arrangement
- Call pay in addition
- All travel, lodging, and malpractice expenses covered or all-inclusive rate + paid malpractice
- No OT billing available – plan shifts accordingly
