We are hiring a highly qualified neurosurgeon to join our team at a Level 1 trauma center in San Francisco for an Urgent Locum Assignment! The ideal candidate must have an active California license and ACLS certification, as well as be BC/BE in neurosurgery!
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing craniotomy/craniectomy, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine stabilization for unstable spine fractures, as well as other elective cases. The remaining elective cases will be taken care of by our permanent staff.
You will be on call for 24 hours, taking 5-8 call-backs per shift. The schedule will require you to be on call for 10 days per month, with each shift lasting 24 full hours. The schedule varies, including weekdays and weekends, and you must be able to arrive at the hospital within 20 minutes of receiving a call.
