Locum Cardiology NP/PA – Northern New Jersey
Block Schedule | No Call | October Start
We are hiring an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an exciting locum opportunity with an established hospital program in Northern New Jersey.
This is a great opportunity for an APP looking for predictable block scheduling without a full-time commitment.
Opportunity Highlights:
- October–December 2026
- Inpatient Cardiology Consult Service
- Friday–Monday coverage blocks
- Only 2–3 blocks per month
- No call
- Approximately 12–24 patients
- Epic EMR
- Additional December & holiday shifts available
- Competitive locum compensation
- Paid malpractice coverage
Typical Block:
Friday: 10 hrs | Saturday: 11 hrs | Sunday: 11 hrs | Monday: 8 hrs
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Cardiology NP or PA
- Strong inpatient cardiology background
- Comfortable practicing independently
- NJ Licensed or able to obtain
- Available for recurring weekend blocks
