Locum Cardiology NP/PA – Northern New Jersey

Block Schedule | No Call | October Start

We are hiring an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an exciting locum opportunity with an established hospital program in Northern New Jersey.

This is a great opportunity for an APP looking for predictable block scheduling without a full-time commitment.

Opportunity Highlights:

• October–December 2026
• Inpatient Cardiology Consult Service
• Friday–Monday coverage blocks
• Only 2–3 blocks per month
• No call
• Approximately 12–24 patients
• Epic EMR
• Additional December & holiday shifts available
• Competitive locum compensation
• Paid malpractice coverage

Typical Block:

Friday: 10 hrs | Saturday: 11 hrs | Sunday: 11 hrs | Monday: 8 hrs

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Cardiology NP or PA
• Strong inpatient cardiology background
• Comfortable practicing independently
• NJ Licensed or able to obtain
• Available for recurring weekend blocks
