Locum Physician Assistant – Plastic Surgery | California | Full-Time | 26-Week Assignment

Assignment Length: 26 Weeks
We are seeking an experienced Locum Physician Assistant to join a respected academic plastic surgery practice in San Francisco, California. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a PA with strong surgical clinic experience who is comfortable managing post-operative patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
Practice Setting
- Academic/teaching environment
- Primarily outpatient clinic
- Opportunity to work in the operating room on Wednesdays may be available; however, first assist opportunities are not guaranteed
Position Highlights
- See up to 16 adult patients per day
- Manage primarily post-operative follow-up patients
- Focus on general plastic surgery and gender-affirming care
- Bread-and-butter post-operative evaluations and patient management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of plastic surgery experience as a Physician Assistant
- Strong surgical clinic experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with gender-affirming care is a plus
Requirements
- Active California Physician Assistant license required
- BLS certification required
