Locum Physician Assistant – Plastic Surgery | California | Full-Time | 26-Week Assignment

Assignment Length: 26 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Locum Physician Assistant to join a respected academic plastic surgery practice in San Francisco, California. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a PA with strong surgical clinic experience who is comfortable managing post-operative patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week

Practice Setting

• Academic/teaching environment
• Primarily outpatient clinic
• Opportunity to work in the operating room on Wednesdays may be available; however, first assist opportunities are not guaranteed

Position Highlights

• See up to 16 adult patients per day
• Manage primarily post-operative follow-up patients
• Focus on general plastic surgery and gender-affirming care
• Bread-and-butter post-operative evaluations and patient management

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of plastic surgery experience as a Physician Assistant
• Strong surgical clinic experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with gender-affirming care is a plus

Requirements

• Active California Physician Assistant license required
• BLS certification required
