Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician – New Jersey

A well-established hospital-based Maternal Fetal Medicine program in New Jersey is seeking an experienced MFM Physician for a locum tenens assignment beginning in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative multidisciplinary OB/GYN and MFM team while providing high-risk obstetric care, inpatient consultations, ultrasound services, and call coverage.

Position Highlights:

• Start: September 2026
• Assignment through the end of 2026
• Inpatient/high-risk OB coverage
• Approximately 1:3 call
• Established MFM and OB/GYN physician team
• APP support
• Epic EMR
• Temporary privileges may be available

Responsibilities:

• Manage high-risk obstetric patients
• Complete inpatient MFM consultations and rounding
• Review and interpret obstetric ultrasounds
• Perform ultrasounds and amniocentesis
• Collaborate with MFM, OB/GYN physicians and APPs
• Participate in scheduled call coverage

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Strong inpatient and high-risk obstetric experience
• Proficiency with ultrasound and amniocentesis
• Comfortable participating in call
• Eligible for New Jersey licensure and hospital privileges
• Prior locum/travel experience preferred
