🩺 Palm Health Resources – Locum CRNA Opportunity (Central Pennsylvania Float Pool)

Palm Health Resources is actively recruiting Locum CRNAs for a flexible float pool opportunity across multiple community hospitals in central Pennsylvania. This is an excellent option for providers seeking light volume, flexible scheduling, and a mix of independent and team-based practice environments.

📅 Assignment Overview

• Start: ASAP (rolling starts available through June 2026)
• Duration: 6 months initially (extension potential)
• Schedule: 2–3 shifts per week (PRN ongoing need)
  • Shift Options:
  • Hospital 1: Monday–Friday, 6:45a–3:30p
  • Hospital 2: Monday–Thursday, 7:00a–5:00p
• Call: None
• Setting: Hospital (critical access + community hospital mix)
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: 1–2 week temps available for clean files

️ Clinical Scope & Environment

• Low daily volume: ~3–5 cases/day (up to <20 depending on site)
  • Mixed practice model:Tyrone: Solo / independent (non-medically directed)
  • Huntingdon: Care team model with anesthesiologist support

Case Mix Includes:

• General surgery
• Orthopedics
• Ophthalmology
• ENT
• Endoscopy
• GYN
• Plastics
• Light peds exposure possible (ENT cases with pediatric anesthesiologist support)
• Cath lab expansion possible (future cases)

👉 Ideal for CRNAs seeking lower acuity, flexible PRN work, and autonomy in certain settings

🔧 Practice Environment

• Smaller hospitals:
  • ~25-bed critical access site
  • ~70-bed community hospital
• Efficient workflows, minimal bureaucracy
• Opportunity for independent practice + skill maintenance

Preferred (not required):

• Spinals
• Regional anesthesia / nerve blocks
• Arterial line placement

Requirements

• NBCRNA certified
• Active Pennsylvania license (no licensing support)
• BLS & ACLS required
• 2+ years experience (or 1+ year independent practice)

💰 Compensation

• Highly competitive 1099 rates — negotiable based on coverage & commitment
• OT available after scheduled shift (premium rate)
• Holiday pay at premium multiplier
