Spend your spring in the Queen City! A premier, top-ranked Level 1 Trauma center in the Charlotte area is looking for a talented Board Certified Pediatric Perfusionist to step in for a rewarding, 4-month leave coverage assignment.

The Highlights

• No Call, Ever: Work a clean Monday–Friday, 40-hour daytime schedule.
• The Dream Staffing Setup: Work in a supportive N+1 staffing model alongside 2 staff perfusionists, 3 surgeons, and 4 dedicated anesthesiologists.
• Predictable Caseload: Average of just 1 to 2 pump cases per day with zero resident or APP supervision required.
• Top-of-the-Line Gear: Operate on advanced Spectrum Medical systems.

Assignment Snapshot

• Dates: March 8, 2027 – July 1, 2027 (Flexible coverage options—split blocks welcome!)
• Setting: Level 1 Trauma / Level 3 Pediatric Hospital
• Case Mix: Pediatric Cardiothoracic, Transplants, and VAD support
• EMR: Epic

What You Bring

• Board Certified Perfusionist (ABCP) with strong hands-on pediatric CT, VAD, and transplant experience.
• Active North Carolina medical license.
• A collaborative mindset ready to hit the ground running with a world-class surgical team.
