Locum NP/PA – Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Tennessee

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Locum Emergency Medicine opportunity in Tennessee.

Position Details

• Commitment: Locum tenens APP coverage for understaffed ED APP FTEs
• Schedule: On-site days, nights, and weekends; no call
• Setting: Emergency department, Level 3 trauma acuity mix (APP acuity typically 3–5), adult and some pediatric patients
• Procedures: Incision and drainage, laceration repair
• EMR: MediTech familiarity preferred; shadow shift for orientation

Requirements

• Board Certified NP or PA-C
• Active Tennessee license (or ability to obtain as required by facility)
• Approximately 4–5 years of emergency medicine experience
• Comfortable with ED procedures including I&D and laceration repair
