The purpose of the Director of Recruitment, Sales & Compliance is to ensure recruitment operations maximizes the organization’s ability to grow. Instrumental in hiring and recruiting internal recruiters, retain and develop/training professional recruiters and ensure resources are used effectively.
The Director shall be responsible for the development, oversight and execution of recruitment strategies and operations within our Healthcare Staffing Firm. This includes developing and implementing recruitment plans, overseeing the recruiting process, providing guidance and support to the recruitment and credentialing compliance team. The Director will also be responsible for the teams metrics to measure performance and ensure that the team meets its goals.
Essential Functions
- Provides direction to meet department and individual production goals by creating strategies to improve production and efficiency.
- Conducts ongoing group and individual meetings to discuss goals, production, corrective action plans and results.
- Provides and documents coaching, counseling and/or mentoring sessions with recruiters, hiring managers, and credentialing staff members on a weekly basis to drive/increase production.
- Provides weekly updates to the CEO to include team and individual data addressing GM%, YTD #placements, billable revenue, cancellations/candidate drop-offs, and any staff production concerns.
- Develops and conducts recruiting training program to ensure all recruiters are appropriately trained and oriented both at time of onboarding and continued throughout the employees’ tenure.
- Identifies training needs and areas of improvement and conducts training sessions to increase productivity for under-performing recruiters.
- Communicates to division managers credentialing updates, potential delays, provider availability, open positions, and assignment changes.
- Assigns new providers entering credentialing to credentialing specialists.
- Collaborates with internal departments to ensure providers begin assignments on time and/or informs internal departments of assignment changes.
- Ensures that providers are compliant prior to placement.
- Fully articulates and adheres to the requirements of each facility consistently.
- Evaluates existing recruitment systems and makes recommendations to improve workflow as appropriate.
- Maintains accurate and comprehensive provider credentialing records within the ATS system.
- Creates and reviews management and production reports with the CEO to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conducts semi-annual and annual performance evaluations.
- Immediately communicates issues related to production and/or staffing concerns to CEO.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- 4+ years of Locum Tenen / Travel Staffing Experience
- 2+ years of Leadership or Management in a Staffing Agency
- Be able to manage multiple projects. Have Outstanding Organizational Skills, Delegation, and Problem Solving Skills
- Business and human resource acumen coupled with an ability to understand client requirements
- Initiative to follow through on tasks and work in a fast-paced environment while working with a sense of urgency
- BS or BA Degree required
