NP/PA, Palliative Care (Outpatient) | Full-Time | North Carolina
A private, not-for-profit, community-based healthcare network in the Sandhills of North Carolina is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Palliative Care NP or PA to join its close-knit team. This is a 100% outpatient role.
Details:
- Full time, 40 hrs/wk, day shift, 8 am-5 pm
- Weekday position with protected administrative time
- See patients in their homes or facilities within the local county
- Join a team of seven Palliative Care NP/PAs and two dedicated social workers
- Call is 1:4 weeks with hospice: weekdays 5 pm-8:30 am and 24-hour coverage on weekends
Requirements:
- NP: graduate of an NP program with national certification
- PA: graduate of an AMA-approved PA program with NCCPA certification
- 2+ years of advanced practice experience
- NC license, NC DEA, and AHA ACLS certification
- Exceptional communication skills, including sensitive patient and family discussions
- Clean background check
