Infusion RN – Oncology (4x10s Weekdays + 1 Weekend Shift/Month)
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts/week (Monday–Friday) + 1 weekend shift/month
The clinic is part of a well-respected health system that is seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology team. This role supports patients and their families in overcoming healthcare barriers—social, financial, or physical—while navigating complex cancer treatments.
This position is ideal for RNs who are passionate about oncology, hematology, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and symptom management, including treatment for sickle cell crises and hydration. ONS chemotherapy certification is required.
Schedule: Enjoy a consistent 4×10 weekday schedule (Monday–Friday), with only one required weekend shift per month to support our limited weekend clinic hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing assessments of oncology patients and identify support needs across the care continuum.
- Use evidence-based nursing to educate patients and families, supporting informed healthcare decisions.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and symptom relief treatments according to established protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on comprehensive health assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a clinical resource and preceptor when needed.
- Ensure all care is compliant with hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient safety regulations.
- Provide timely and thorough documentation of interventions and education.
- Promote a team-oriented environment and assist in resolving clinical or operational issues.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program as recognized by a licensing authority (per Texas BON 217.1).
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in an infusion or oncology setting.
- Current Texas RN license (or Compact State equivalent).
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider certification required.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
