Locum Perfusionist Opportunity | High-Acuity Cardiac Program | St. Louis, MO
Start Date: ASAP (June Target) | Through December 2025
Palm Health Resources is currently hiring two experienced Locum Perfusionists for an exciting opportunity in St. Louis, Missouri, supporting one of the region’s most advanced cardiac surgery teams. This is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment perfect for seasoned perfusionists who are ready to make an immediate impact.
Assignment Overview
- Positions Available:
- 1 Full-Time Locum Perfusionist
- Schedule:
- 5 days/week + on-call
- Weekday call: 3 PM – 7 AM
- Weekend call: 24-hour shifts starting at 6 AM (first in, first out)
- Assignment Length: ASAP through December 2025
Case Types & Program Highlights
You’ll join a growing program seeing which has seen volume increases, and need support with:
- Robust ECMO program
- Live transplants
- HIPECs
- TAVRs
- Complex aortic procedures
- CABGs, valves, angiovac, VV bypass, and liver transplants
- A high-acuity patient population that requires top-tier perfusion care
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) – ABCP certification required
- Must be Licensed as a Perfusionist in the State of Missouri
- Strong clinical experience in pumping complex cardiac cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must have a minimum of 3years of experience working as an ECMO perfusionist.
