- Creating follow-up workflows for abnormal findings
- Optimizing EMR templates, order sets, and incorporating technology into care
- Providing occasional direct patient follow-up via phone or virtual consults
- Leading clinical quality initiatives and supporting operational improvements
This role emphasizes strategic clinical thinking, tech-savvy documentation, and collaborative support for a high-functioning primary care team.
Qualifications:
- MD with Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Active or eligible Georgia medical license
- Minimum of 3 years of outpatient internal medicine experience preferred
- Strong skills in lab and radiologic interpretation
- Comfortable developing protocols and clinical workflows
- Highly proficient with EMR systems and open to integrating AI solutions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Work Schedule & Flexibility:
- Full-time: 4.5-day workweek, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Remote or in-office flexibility based on provider preference
- No weekend clinical shifts (only occasional urgent result reviews)
- Minimal on-call (phone-only)
- Independent, results-driven work model
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary with productivity incentives
- Signing bonus and relocation assistance (if needed)
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- 401(k) with employer match
- CME allowance and licensure support
- Paid time off and holidays
- Life and disability insurance benefits
Why This Role Stands Out:
This is not your typical primary care position. It’s a dynamic opportunity for a physician who wants to play a pivotal role in clinical operations, workflow development, and technology-driven care optimization—while maintaining work-life balance in a low-stress environment.
