Experienced LOCUM Cardiothoracic Physician Assistants wanted for a full-time assignment in Anchorage, Alaska! Come join our growing team and enjoy working near some of Alaska’s best outdoor adventures, scenic trails, and fresh local seafood! Candidates will be practicing in the Full Continuum of Care in Heart Surgery. Our cardiac surgery is a full team endeavor that works across disciplines to ensure the very best for our heart surgery patients. Total team atmosphere!
6 month locum Full Time Contract with an opportunity to extend!
- Prior CV/CT experience is required
- Vein harvesting training and or experience is required
- Surgical experience required
- Will support 2 cardiothoracic surgeons
- APP will assist with inpatient and outpatient services including office visits, consults, discharges, and rounding
Schedule: Full Time Monday-Friday (8 hour shifts)
· Occasional on-call shifts
Requirements:
· Active Alaska State License
· Active Alaska DEA
· Experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery assisting
