Advanced Practice Full Desk Recruiter (Business Development Focus)

We are seeking a highly driven Advanced Practice Full Desk Recruiter with a strong background in locum tenens and business development. This role requires a proven ability to build and manage both sides of the desk—developing client relationships while sourcing and placing top-tier Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years running a full desk in Advanced Practice recruiting within locum tenens
• Demonstrated success in both client acquisition and candidate placement
• Strong business development and B2B sales experience

Role Overview:

As an Advanced Practice Full Desk Recruiter, you will take ownership of the entire recruitment lifecycle—driving new business, managing client relationships, and sourcing high-quality candidates. This role requires deep market knowledge and subject matter expertise across APP specialties, including Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), and CRNAs.

You will have immediate access to 500+ active staffing contracts, giving you the opportunity to quickly build and scale your book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business development efforts by identifying, prospecting, and securing new healthcare clients
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare organizations and key decision-makers
• Source, recruit, and place Advanced Practice Providers nationwide
• Execute high-volume outreach via cold calling, emailing, texting, and networking
• Manage and grow existing client accounts while expanding into new markets
• Match candidates to opportunities based on credentials, licensure, and client needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and candidate pipelines within the CRM
• Consistently meet and exceed activity and revenue quotas
• Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of Advanced Practice recruiting experience
• 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and data management abilities

Work Environment:

This is primarily an in-office role (Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm). Remote opportunities may be considered for candidates located 200+ miles outside of Florida.
