We have an emergency Certified Nurse Midwife Locum Tenens need throughout Northern CA!! Please read entire email!! Quick credentialing, must be ready to go in under two-three weeks!!
Job Overview:
The CNM will independently manage care for low‑risk patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, and co‑manage higher‑risk cases with an MD as appropriate.
Essential Responsibilities:
INTRAPARTUM
- Conduct medical screening exams to diagnose labor.
- Manage low‑risk labor and delivery independently under physician supervision.
- Co‑manage higher‑risk patients with MDs.
- Coordinate pain management, including epidural requests.
- Follow facility‑specific standardized procedures.
Position Details
- Bill Rate: $220/hour (all inclusive rate)
- Credential in under a week!
- Shift Length: 12‑hour shifts, days and nights
- Minimum 3 shifts per week! Can do more if desired!
- EMR: Health Connect
Position prerequisites:
CA licensed required!
AMCB National Certification – Required!
AHA – BLS required!
3 years of experience!
Annual Delivery Volumes – Please include the annual deliveries for the past 2 years on the presentation form. Presentations will be rejected if this information is not listed.
