Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist to provide outpatient locum coverage at our Ohio office. Full Time Locum Contract for One year with an opportunity to extend! Palm Health covers your mal practice, Housing, Travel, Rental Car or Mileage and MUCH MORE!

Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology – Ohio (Outpatient)

Specialty: Hematology / Oncology

Location: OH

Schedule: Monday–Wednesday (3 days/week) minimum

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing (coverage due to physician retirement)

Practice Details

• Outpatient only (no inpatient rounding)
• See new hematology/oncology patients and follow-ups
• Patient volume ramps up to 10–20 patients/day
• Monthly new consults:
  • ~35 Hematology
  • ~10 Oncology
  • Heavy emphasis on benign hematology
• Hem/Onc split: 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology
• No APP support
• Infusion supervision required (direct supervision)

Case Mix

• Solid tumors and malignant hematology
• Common diagnoses include:
  • Lung, colon, breast cancers
  • Lymphoma, NHL, CML
  • Anemias (all types)
• No AML treatment
• No stem cell transplant (patients referred to UK or OSU)

Additional Details

• EMR: Epic (Beacon module)
• Licensure: Ohio license eligible
• Hospital privileges: Likely not required (can be confirmed)
• Supervision: May supervise nursing staff
