Medical Oncologist Opportunity – Build a Growing Cancer Program

Palm Health is working with a well-established, accredited cancer center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologist to help develop and expand a new medical oncology practice in a high-need community. This is a rare opportunity to play a foundational role in shaping the future of cancer care within a growing, patient-centered program.

Opportunity Overview

This position offers the chance to join a fully integrated, multidisciplinary cancer program committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care close to home. The practice is supported by a strong referral network and an established regional health system, ensuring immediate patient access and long-term program stability.

You will work collaboratively with a broad oncology team, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and dedicated supportive care services.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical oncology and hematology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing management
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and cancer committee initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with radiation oncology and surgical oncology colleagues
  • Engage in clinical trials and research opportunities, where applicable
  • Contribute to quality improvement and program development efforts

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology

  • Interest in collaboration, program development, and growth
