Locum Hospitalist Physician Opportunity – Family Medicine / Internal Medicine
Position Overview
Palm Health Resources is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a locum tenens Hospitalist opportunity. This role provides inpatient coverage within a collaborative healthcare environment and offers the opportunity to work with and mentor Family Medicine residents.
The physician will provide comprehensive care to an adult inpatient population while supporting an established hospital medicine team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Opportunity Highlights
- Locum tenens inpatient Hospitalist position
- Manage a diverse adult inpatient population
- Average daily census of approximately 21–22 patients
- Full spectrum inpatient medical care
- Resident teaching and supervision responsibilities
- Collaborative, team-based practice environment
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Prior inpatient Hospitalist experience preferred
- Experience teaching or supervising residents preferred
- Board Eligible candidates must meet applicable eligibility requirements
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- New graduates will not be considered
Credentialing Requirements
- Candidate must complete required credentialing documentation prior to assignment
- Submission requirements include:
- Current CV
- Completed NPDB Self-Query
- Explanation of any reportable findings, if applicable
